Department of Surgery

Dr. Gabinet specializes in General Surgery and is a part of the Brown Surgical Associates surgical team at Newport Hospital.   He completed his undergraduate studies at Swarthmore College in 2011. He then earned his medical degree from the Warren Alpert Medical School of Brown University in 2020. He stayed on at Brown for continued training in the General Surgery Residency Program, which he completed in 2025.

When not practicing medicine Dr. Gabinet enjoys film and digital photography, road cycling and bicycle repair, powerlifting, manga, and reading.
