Why did you choose Brown:
Not only did I have the most positive interview experience at Brown, but I was drawn to the program because it embodies excellence and balance in all of the aspects of surgical training most important to me: rich clinical experiences across specialties, strong professional development and academic opportunities, and a culture of hard work and team spirit to serve patients. I was also confident that my training at Brown would be enhanced even more by its dynamic and friendly group of people.
Favorite things about Providence and RI:
I love how Providence is a charming and unassuming city that has so much to offer in terms of art, restaurants, outdoor recreation, and nature. I also love the East Bay Bike Path.
Plans for the future:
Although I have interests in acute care surgery and cardiothoracic surgery, I am still deciding which specialty I want to pursue. Above all, I want to become an excellent surgeon for my patients.
