Why did you choose Brown?

I was looking for a program that would make me a competent, well rounded surgeon. Fortunately I met a few Brown general surgery alums, and they resoundingly said Brown would train me to be those qualities and more.

What are your favorite things about Providence & RI?

I love how much good food there is around here! I look forward to discovering Providence’s best chocolate chip cookie (by my own, biased standards).

Plans for the future?

Specialty-wise, my interest right now is trauma/critical care. I’d also like to incorporate global health and public policy into my career eventually.
