Why did you choose Brown:

Most importantly, I really enjoyed the residents and faculty that I met and interacted with during the interview and second look days. Beyond that, I appreciated the flexibility baked into the program in terms of taking research year(s) and I’m interested in trauma, which I know is a strength of the program.

Favorite things about Providence and RI:

To be determined! I’m excited to live near a body of water that isn’t the Hudson River and can’t wait to dive into the Providence food scene.

Plans for the future:

Minimally invasive surgery/general surgery.
