Why did you choose Brown?: 

I believe so much of who you become as a surgeon is a product of who you learn from and with. The people and community at Brown immediately stood out to me, not in what they said, but in how they acted. They treat each other with warmth and respect, and others with humanity and humility. 

What are your favorite things about Providence & RI?: 

The beaches, the seafood, the price of rent, and the fact that everything is 10 minutes away. 

Plans for the future?

I remain undecided at this stage, but I aspire to pursue a career at an academic institution and integrate public policy research and engagement into my professional practice
