Why did you choose Brown?

Brown had so much to offer, both in clinical training and in opportunities for research and advocacy in social determinants of health. I’m excited to gain more experience in both of these spheres as I progress through residency!

What are your favorite things about Providence & RI?

I’m excited to live somewhere that is so walkable! Additionally, there is so much amazing history, culture, and scenery around Rhode Island. And who could forget the food scene!

Plans for the future?

I’m currently interested in both surgical oncology and colorectal surgery. However, I’ve seen only a narrow breadth of what general surgery has to offer, so I’m excited to explore other paths in the specialty!
