Brown is a strong academic institution with an unparalleled surgical culture; the support and camaraderie of faculty and residents paired with the autonomy you are given during residency allows you to strive for excellence and be leaders in the surgical field. 

Favorite things about Providence and RI:

The food in and around providence is remarkable. And we are under an hour to great vacation destinations in Newport, Cape Cod, and Martha’s Vineyard. 

Plans for the future:

I currently am interested in Pediatric Surgery, but still have an open mind as to what fellowship I will pursue. However, regardless of sub-specialty, I plan to stay in Academic Surgery.
