Department of Surgery

Dr. Spivak completed his undergraduate studies at George Washington University in 2014. He continued at George Washington University, in the School of Medicine and Health Sciences, to earn his medical degree in 2018.  He began his surgical training with the General Surgery Residency Program at the Warren Alpert School of Medicine of Brown University, which he completed in 2023. In 2024, he completed a Trauma Surgery and Critical Care Fellowship at the R Adams Cowley Shock Trauma Center, and in 2025, he completed the Advanced GI, Minimally Invasive, Abdominal Wall, Bariatrics, and Foregut Surgery Fellowship through the Stony Brook University Department of General Surgery. His goal is to bring these minimally invasive techniques into the world of emergency general surgery, trauma surgery, and his elective practice.
