Why did you choose Brown:

I choose Brown because of the breadth of cases, rigorous operative experience, and academic conferences that would allow me to hone my technical skillset and the thought processes involved in difficult decision making. I also enjoyed speaking with everyone from my interview day and how welcoming and tight knit the residents seemed. 

Favorite things about Providence and RI:

Del’s lemonade, proximity to beaches, vibrant and diverse community and amazing Italian food.  

Plans for the future:

Currently planning on pursuing a fellowship after my general surgery training, however, I am remaining open to learning more about each specialty!
