Why did you choose Brown?

Throughout the interview process, I could see how close-knit the residents are and how much everyone cares for each other and the patients. I was looking for a program where I could explore my interest in public health while receiving an excellent surgical education. 

What are your favorite things about Providence & RI?

In Providence, there is a little bit of everything—city life, proximity to the beach, and amazing food. After spending medical school far from home, I'm excited to be back on the East Coast, closer to family and friends. 

Plans for the future:

 I am currently interested in surgical oncology and breast surgery but excited to explore more subspecialties throughout residency.
