Why did you choose Brown?

RI Hospital is "the only game in town" - the only level 1 Trauma Center and tertiary hospital for a catchment area of over 1 million people - which gives residents a broad exposure to all aspects of general surgery with a strong trauma experience.

What are your favorite things about Providence and RI?

No matter where you are in the state, it's hard to be more than 30 min from the beach which makes spontaneous beach trips possible any day. Providence gives you the benefits of a small city - a vibrant and diverse restaurant scene, arts/cultural events, and lots of young professionals - without a high cost of living.
