Why did you choose Brown?

I grew to love the department as a medical student – not just for the excellence of its academic and technical training, but also the people. It’s a community I’m excited to be a part of.

What are your favorite things about Providence and RI?

It’s not a big city, but it’s got enough of everything, especially food! Plus, it’s beautiful, it’s easy to get around (especially to the beach), and it’s affordable.

Plans for the future?

Undecided. I’m interested in Trauma/Critical Care, but Brown emphasizes training well-rounded surgeons, so I’m looking forward to exploring the parts of the specialty I haven’t experienced yet.
