Why did you choose Brown?

Above all the camaraderie of everyone in the program and the supportive environment. Also, the focus on clinical excellence, operative volume, great depth and exposure to a wide range of services, and mentors who really care that you succeed.

What are your favorite things about Providence and RI?

Excellent restaurants, manageable size, lots of academic institutions, proximity to the ocean. Rhode Island is a gem; beautiful state with a lot to offer without going very far.

Plans for the future?

I am leaning towards specialties where I can get to know patients longitudinally.
