Why did you choose Brown?

I was looking for a program with a tight-knit community where I could continue public health work. Brown has both! The kindness and comradery I saw from the residents during my interview was very much reflected during second look day, and the large catchment area Brown serves brings a wide diversity in patients and pathology.

What are your favorite things about Providence & RI?

Being so close to the water and all the incredible food!

Plans for the future?

Currently unknown! I’m open to a career in general surgery or a subspecialty field. I’m looking forward to rotating through the different specialties over the next five years.
