Hometown: I was born in Guangzhou, China, but I grew up in Queens, NYC.

Undergraduate: Princeton University 

Medical School: Albert Einstein College of Medicine 

Why did you choose Brown?

The people. During my pre-interview dinner, I was impressed with the residents- they seemed genuinely happy to see each other. I like how they joked around with each other and recounted various "first moments" of residency. It felt like a big family! I am happy that I am now part of this family. 

What are your favorite things about Providence and RI?

 I love trying new food, and there are plenty of great restaurants in Providence.

Plans for the future?

Fellowship in Minimally Invasive Surgery.
