Why did you choose Brown:

I chose Brown because of the incredible interactions I had with the faculty, residents and staff I met during my interview day. From the onset I felt like I was talking to people who genuinely wanted to get to know me and help guide me to become the surgeon I want to be. The academic opportunities available are second to none and their emphasis on producing excellent surgeons, both in and out of the OR, further solidified that this was the place that I wanted to train.

The beaches and food! 

Plans for the future:

Trauma/Critical Care. I also strive to increase minority representation in surgery and I plan to incorporate that passion into my future career as well.
