Why did you choose Brown?

I loved seeing the camaraderie among the residents on interview day and that was a huge draw for me for this program. I'm also interested in pediatric surgery, so I knew I wanted to go to a program that had a fellowship so I could see the process firsthand. 

What are your favorite things about Providence and RI?

The beaches! Growing up in upstate NY I never had easy access to the beach, so it's been so nice to be able to just go when I have a day off.

Plans for the future?

I'll be spending the next 2 years in the lab.  After residency, I'm planning to go into pediatric surgery.
