Why did you choose Brown? I chose Brown because I felt that the program was equally challenging and supportive of the residents. I wanted an academic setting that would push me to become my best, while also providing me with wide exposure to surgical subspecialties and mentorship that would help me decide on a career path.

What are your favorite things about Providence & RI? So far, I am loving the foods in Providence and the walkability of the city. I am from a more rural area, and it has been extremely exciting to walk around the city and explore everything without needing to get into a car.

Plans for the future? I am still unsure of what surgical specialty I will want to pursue; however, I am very excited to learn more about each of them throughout my intern year.
