Biography

Hometown: London, England

Undergraduate: Georgetown University

Medical School: The Warren Alpert Medical School of Brown University

Why did you choose Brown?

As a medical student, I witnessed the incredible teamwork that manifests at Brown. The combination of diverse clinical experiences, excellent mentorship, and academic infrastructure resonated strongly with me. The residents and faculty make it a community of which I wanted to be a part!

What are your favorite things about Providence & RI?

Providence is a livable yet unique city. There are great restaurants, proximity to everything outdoors, and it’s family friendly.

Plans for the future?

Although I’m undecided for fellowship, despite interests in HPB and trauma surgery, I am foremost committed to being a dedicated surgeon, surgical educator and researcher, patient advocate, and mother.

Academic surgery?

My interests in academic surgery have manifested thus far through research and emphasis on surgical education/mentorship. I hope to continue my research, which continuously challenges my perspective, while incorporating patient perspectives in such.
