High volume of operative cases and research opportunities. 

What are your favorite things about Providence and RI?

The state has plenty of beautiful beaches and outdoor spots to explore. Providence Italian heritage allowed me to always find all kinds of cooking ingredients, almost like being back home.

Plans for the future?

My long-term plan is to eventually become a Vascular surgeon. I found the wide breadth of procedures to be very appealing, from open to endovascular cases. My decision to pursue the specialty stems from how I relish the inherent cognitive challenges especially during complex preoperative planning.
